Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
Temporary anchorage devices are tiny “anchors” that provides the ability to transform bites and smiles in a way that was not possible a decade ago. This state of the art technology can temporarily target teeth that require concentrated treatment without affecting the surrounding teeth. Treatment usually lasts a few months, and once the desired movement has been achieved, the “pin” is removed. With these anchors, Dr. Doug can achieve results that otherwise may not have been accomplished without jaw surgery.
